educational, and includes curriculum-linked primary and secondary teaching resourse packs, comprehensive questionnaires, teachers’ notes and additional online resources.

Founded by Thomas Lord in 1787 as the home of the Marylebone Cricket Club, the current site was established in 1814 and is now the ultimate destination for international players and cricket fans alike.
Steeped in history and charm and contemporary along with traditional architecture plus a collection of cricketing art and memorabilia, including the iconic Ashes Urn, Lord’s is the home of Cricket.
Wembley Stadium, venue of English football’s only World Cup victory in 1966, situated in Wembley Way, Wembley in North West London, was founded in 1923. With its iconic twin towers, Wembley Stadium has hosted many famous sporting and cultural events apart from football.
In 2007, after a massive and total rebuilding programme, Wembley Stadium was rebuilt to world class specifications, now instantly recognisable by virtue of a huge arch which covers the entire structure. Wembley Stadium has a seated capacity of 90,000 people for football and rugby matches.
The historic F.A Cup final is played at Wembley Stadium as are the majority of England’s home international football matches.
